Response:

Under the FOI Act, certain information is exempt from release. One exemption (under section 21 of the FOIA) applies to information that is accessible to the applicant by other means. Your request falls into this category. This information is available in the GLAA Annual Report and Accounts that are published on our website here: Corporate Publications - GLAA. If this information is not in an accessible format for you, please let us know.

The Annual Report and Accounts for 20-21 are due to be laid on 31st January so information will be available for that year then.

Special payments were recorded in 18/19 and 19/20, however we are unable to disclose the details of these due to confidentiality. Therefore, we consider the information you have requested regarding the ‘itemisation of each special payment’ as exempt from disclosure under section 40 of the FOIA.
