At the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) we are an inclusive team who are passionate about protecting vulnerable and exploited workers. We are keen to effectively represent the communities that we serve and as such are looking to encourage applications from a diverse range of backgrounds. Equality, diversity and inclusion is at the heart of our organisation, as are our values of integrity, respect, commitment, professionalism and teamwork.

We are looking for individuals who are excited by the opportunity to improve the lives of others, who live our values, and who enjoy working as part of a passionate and committed team.

The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) is one of the principal investigative law enforcement bodies for labour exploitation in the UK. We licence labour providers in certain employment sectors and enforce the provisions of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004. We also have powers to ensure vulnerable workers are more effectively protected from being abused for their labour, such as police-style powers of arrest, and increased powers to search for and seize evidence. The GLAA is able to investigate labour exploitation offences under National Minimum Wage, Employment Agencies as well as Modern Slavery Act.
