Number of arrests made in 2020

Freedom of Information Act Request

Ref: FOI 21-22 09

Date issued: 17 August 2021

Subject: Number of arrests made in 2020

Question(s):

I wish to obtain the number of arrests made between January 2020 and January 2021.

Response:

Under the FOI Act, certain information is exempt from release. One exemption (under section 21 of the Act) applies to information that is accessible to the applicant by other means. Your request falls into this category. Details of arrests made by the GLAA - working either independently or in partnership with other law enforcement agencies are listed on our website here: https://www.gla.gov.uk/our-impact/performance-reports/.
