Question(s):
Enforcement actions undertaken against companies by the Agency between 2010 - 2023. Including:
a. Warning letters
b. Labour Market Enforcement Undertakings
c. Labour Market Enforcement Orders
d. Criminal Prosecutions

Please include information on the company the enforcement action has been issued to including name of company, type of offence, date the enforcement action was undertaken and size of fine if given.
I would like to request that the above information be provided to me in a spreadsheet via email.

 

Response:

I can confirm the following in response to your questions:
a) This information is not recorded in a way that is easily extracted. To find this information would require a manual search. Our assessment is that the length of time to undertake this activity would exceed the cost thresholds set out under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and therefore we are unable to provide an answer to your questions.
b-d) Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), certain information is exempt from release. One exemption under section 21 (1) applies to information that is reasonably accessible to the applicant by other means. Your request falls into this category. Information relating to the issuing of LMEUs LEMOs and Convictions are publicly available on our website here: Conviction Totals - GLAA. Information about these sanctions are routinely published on our website through press releases: 2023 Press Releases; Press release archive – 2008-2022.
