Subject: Referrals regarding the Seasonal Worker Scheme

Question:

I would also be grateful to receive:

1.    Number of and content of referrals between 2020 to 2025 from the Just Good Work App with regards to the Seasonal Workers Scheme.

2.    Number of and content of referrals from any other referral avenues between 2020 to 2025 with regards to the Seasonal Workers Scheme.

3.    Number of and content of referrals from any other referral avenues between 2020 to 2025 with regards to 'Haygrove Farm' or 'Haygrove Ltd.'

Our response:

The GLAA has recorded the following general issues:

1.    0 referrals are recorded. 

2.    167 referrals are recorded. We consider information about the content of these referrals to be exempt as this information was provided in confidence (section 41(1)). 

Section 41 applies because: 
-    The information was obtained from a third party.
-    Disclosure would constitute an actionable breach of confidence. 

This is an absolute exemption, meaning it is not subject to the public interest test. 
The GLAA is committed to the integrity of reporting to ensure the wider public and our partners feel confident in their ability to share reports with the GLAA.
 
3.    12 referrals received. As above. The content of these referrals is deemed to be exempt as this information was provided in confidence (section 41(1)).
