Find out how to protect your workers and your business at joint webinar
6th July 2022
Businesses are being encouraged to register for a joint webinar hosted by the three labour market enforcement bodies later this month.
The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), HM Revenue and Customs’ National Minimum Wage team and Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate (EAS) event will outline how the agencies work together to protect workers’ rights and target employers who do not follow the regulations.
The webinar, which takes place from 10.30am – 11.45am on Tuesday July 19, will also explain what organisations need to do to protect their workers and the potential risks to them in not doing so.
GLAA Head of Prevention and Partnerships Frank Hanson said: “We would really encourage employers to attend this webinar and find out more about the role they can play in building an alliance with us to protect themselves and their workforce from exploitation.
“We tend to find that where a business falls short in one area of worker protection, the risk of them getting things wrong elsewhere increases. That’s why the three labour market enforcement agencies want to demonstrate what a good employer looks like when it comes to workers’ rights and pay.”
