GLAA Marks National Inclusion Week with renewed commitment to fairness and respect

16th September 2025

This week, the GLAA proudly joins organisations across the UK in celebrating National Inclusion Week - a time to reflect on the importance of inclusivity in the workplace and beyond.

The theme for this year, #NowIsTheTime, serves as a powerful reminder that inclusion is not just a value, but a call to action.

At the heart of the GLAA’s mission to tackle labour exploitation is a deep commitment to supporting individuals from all walks of life. Every year, we assist thousands of workers - many of whom come from diverse and often vulnerable backgrounds.

Our CEO Elysia McCaffrey said: “Inclusion is central to who we are. Everyone who seeks our support or advice is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances.

“We understand that people with protected characteristics may face additional challenges due to factors such as gender, sexuality, race, or religion. That’s why it’s vital that our values reflect the communities we serve.

“We want those who come to us to feel safe and supported - and the same goes for our colleagues. As an inclusive employer, we’re proud to stand behind National Inclusion Week and everything it represents.”

The GLAA remains committed to fostering a culture where fairness, respect, and inclusion are not just principles, but everyday practice.
