Shape the GLA's future - join our liaison group

12th January 2016

Invitation

Are you interested in shaping future policy and practices of the GLA?

If the answer is yes, then you will be interested to learn that the GLA holds regular meetings of a Labour Provider Labour User Liaison Group. Here, stakeholders from any relevant background can give their views on how to make sure the regulatory framework fits the needs of today’s markets.

The group meets roughly once a quarter and we are always on the lookout for new members who can bring some a fresh approach and new ideas to the table.

You could be a GLA licence-holder, supplying workers within our regulated sector. Or, you might be one of their clients – a labour user - who employs workers as part of your day-to-day business operations.

We also welcome the views from connected trade associations and retailers as well as anyone else connected with the UK’s fresh produce supply chain.

The meetingsare attended by GLA Chair Margaret Beels and Chief Executive Paul Broadbent as well as the Head of Licensing and Head of Compliance.

All meetings of the Labour Provider Labour User Liaison Group run from 11am – 1pm and the dates for 2016 are as follows:

12 May
8 September
23 November

Anyone interested in attending is asked to confirm their attendance in advance by emailing licensing@gla.gsi.gov.uk. Any questions or requests for further information should also be sent to this address.
