COMMUNICATING WITH US DURING THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

*** Like many organisations, we're operating slightly differently during the coronavirus outbreak. Please use email wherever possible to make contact with us for the time being instead of calling over the phone. Thank you***

Important coronavirus update - March 2021

Please do not send any post, especially if urgent or payments, to the GLAA offices as we cannot access it. We’d encourage people to make payments via BACS where possible – please get in touch via email if this is an issue. Email: finance@gla.gov.uk or licensing@gla.gov.uk for any licensing related queries.

Reporting information

If you have any information about the mistreatment of workers, labour providers operating without a licence or a business using an unlicensed gangmaster, please tell us. Your information counts.

All information we receive is prioritised according to the severity of the risk factors identified. Whenever possible, the intelligence team will speak to the source directly to ensure as much information as possible is obtained and the initial risk assessment is accurate. Acknowledgements are sent in response to written correspondence subject to the sender's identity remaining confidential.

Prosecutions and licence revocation details are published once any appeal process is completed. Feedback is decided on a case by case basis. Usually, feedback will not be provided to third parties or in circumstances which could compromise the information source, ongoing or future investigations by the GLAA or partner agencies.

By telephone - 0800 432 0804, to report your concerns in confidence. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, you can leave a message outside of these hours. This is a freephone number, although some mobile service providers may charge.

You can also call 03000 717678 (and leave a message outside of office hours using this number) or 03000 719567 to speak to one of the intelligence team. These are not freephone numbers so normal charges will apply.

By email - intelligence@gla.gov.uk, please give us as much information as you can.

If you want to know what happens to your information then watch our video below
